Canary Wharf, London, England, 2009
Canary Wharf is a large financial and business developement built in the docklands of east London.
From 1802 to 1980, the docks were one of the busiest in the world, capable of berthing 600 vessels.
They remained largely derelict after extensive bombing in WW2. Canary Wharf contains the UK's three
tallest buildings, the centre building, One Canada Square, is the tallest.
