Nur Misuari is the revolutionary leader of the
Bangsa Moro people and Chairman of the
MNLF. He was a lecturer at the University of
the Philippines on political science. In the
early 1970's he was one of the organizers of
the Mindanao Independence Movement and
later spent time in self exile in the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia.
