A good portrait photograph should say more than just record
the physical likeness. The challenge is to recognise genuine
moments and capture them; to go beyond the body language
and capture the mind at work and feel their thoughts. It should
convey their personality and the mood of the moment and be
psychologically animated. Photographing during real board
meetings, provide higher quality images as the meetings
are more psychologically charged.
Often corporate portraits are reproduced small and so should
be bold and simple in composition. At the same time, it must respect the position of the subject within the company. An idea
is to convey the feeling that the viewer is participating in the
meeting, so you feel connected with the subject and feel the atmosphere.
