The abstract images are large format ink jet pigment prints with archival inks
offered in two print formats:
1. Printed on Canson 440gsm Museum Canvas, black edges, stretched and
fully
gloss varnished to give the image rich colours and deep blacks. The final
stretched size is 30 x 30 inch or 78 x 78 cm. Stretcher 1.5 inch or 4 cm deep.
2. Printed on Canson Rag paper, a matte print which requires later framing
under glass with more subtle colours and smokey blacks. A more traditional
presentation that looks great in a corporate environment. The image size is
30 x 30 inch or 78 x 78 cm on 36 inch x 38 inch paper or 92 x 97 cm.

The abstract digital art images are computer generated images based on
mathematics. However, like conventional images of the real world, they
involve exactly the same creative decisions regarding composition, colour,
balance, depth and even implied mood; all are controllable elements when
creating the images in the software.
While my passion is for the panoramic image, creating a beautiful image,
a story about a specific location, it makes a lovely contrast to create images
that remove the specific location element from an image, to create images
that are purely about the emotional response of the viewer to the same
creative elements and decisions I use in my every day work.
For example a larger square image made up from four separate images to
create a larger image with a different look. Being abstract and square, the
images can be displayed rotated in relation to the overall composition.
